This area has collaborated in the development, and continues to make them evolve, of the Guidelines for Sanitation in the Rural Environment of Galicia and the Technical Instructions for Hydraulic Works of Galicia (ITOHG). At present, the Technical Instructions for Hydraulic Works in Galicia for Wastewater Treatment Plants (ITOHG-EDAR) are being developed. These instructions are mainly oriented to the sanitation of agglomerations in rural areas.
