The use of mineral and thermal waters is widespread in the Galician community. In some of these spas, projects of geothermal use have been proposed.

Projects have been carried out for the capture and use of thermal, mineral and medicinal waters, also evaluating the protection perimeters associated with the corresponding captures.
Geothermal uses
GEAMA-HYGA has carried out studies of capture, use and compatibility in thermal springs located in the Andalusian community.
