The VII Jornadas de Ingeniería del Agua served as a platform for our research team to present our most recent findings to the scientific community. This congress took place in Cartagena, Spain, from October 18th to 19th, 2023. We shared insights from the EU H2020 Co-UDlabs project (grant agreement No 101008626) focusing on the latest developments in Joint Research Activities and the results of the first Transnational Access call. Additionally, we discussed the initial results of the monitoring of the CITEEC Campus-SUDS pilot techniques (project EQC2019-006507-P) within the SUDSlong LCG project (PID2021-122946OB-C31 funded by MCIN/ AEI /10.13039/501100011.).

Our representatives included:

It is worth highlighting the significant contribution of our PhD student Esteban Sañudo, who was honored with the accesit of the Hydraulics Laboratory Network in Spain for the best communication in experimental hydraulics.

In addition, Juan Naves, was invited to the JIA standing committee as president of the Spain YPN.

Part of the studies received financial support from the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation (MCIN/AEI/10.13039/501100011033) within the project “SATURNO: Early warning against pluvial flooding in urban areas” (PID2020-118368RB-I00).
