A new steering committee of the AA-FLOODS project took place this month of March in Bristol. The AA-FLOODS project, in which GEAMA participates as a partner through the University of A Coruña, focuses on improving flood risk management and response. Bringing together local authorities and communities, water companies, researchers and NGOs, AA-FLOODS works on the prevention, warning, management and recovery from flood events.

Project meetings such as this one in Bristol are an opportunity to share the work done to date. In addition, due to the proximity of the end of the project, this meeting has also worked on the organization of the deliverables and final project outputs.
