The Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional para el Desarrollo (AECID), Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores, Unión Europea y Cooperación español and the University of A Coruña (UDC) have signed an agreement involving GEAMA group members Joaquín Suárez and José Anta.
The four-year agreement uses European Union resources to support the water and sewerage programme in urban and peri-urban areas in Bolivia.
Within the framework of this agreement, GEAMA will carry out activities that contribute to the development of sustainable urban water, sanitation and drainage plans. In addition, it will carry out technical supervision and training activities aimed primarily at the Bolivian Ministry of Environment and Water, as well as training courses.
