This week, Luis Cea is attending the 1st Symposium on Urban Flood Experiments organized by INSA in Lyon, France. Here, we have the opportunity to learn about the different experimental research set-ups of colleagues from all over Europe and the benefits and difficulties they face in their projects. In addition, participants have had the opportunity to visit the «Urban Model for the Study of Flood Risk» (MURI) at the INRAE labratory. Luis Cea, for his part, presented the main experimental urban drainage infrastructures available at the University of A Coruña and presented the projects that GEAMA is developing in these lines of research.
