Research lines

My research is focused in the numerical modelling of environmental water flows and associated transport processes, including soil erosion at the catchment scale and water quality in rivers. I am especially interested in applications related to flood inundation modelling, from the catchment scale to the urban scale.


In this context my research activity includes the development, calibration, validation and application of numerical models in the areas of rural and urban hydrology, river hydraulics and estuarine tidal flows.
